Rajput Rishta

Close your account and erase your data

Rajput Rishta offers two things: closing the account, which you do yourself in the app, and erasing your data, which the samaj committee carries out when you ask.

Close your account in the app

  1. Open Rajput Rishta and sign in.
  2. Go to Me → Settings → Close my account.
  3. Choose a reason (married through this app, married outside the app, or other). If the marriage came through the app, you may add the partner's Profile ID so the committee can close both.
  4. Tap Close my account.

At that moment your profile disappears from every list and every family, open interests are withdrawn, and you are signed out on every phone. Closing is final from your side: there is no reopen. If you sign up later with the same Google account, you start a new, separate account.

Closing deletes nothing. The committee keeps the account's records: the profile, its photos, its change history, interests, events, the visit log and the sign-in log. Your sign-in email is moved off the live account so that a later sign-up is not treated as a duplicate.

To hide your profile for a while instead, use Settings → Hide my profile. Nothing is closed, and Bring my profile back restores it as it was.

A candidate profile that was never sent to the committee (a draft) can be removed on its own from the profile switcher on Me; it is deleted for good, with its photos.

Ask for your data to be erased

Write to paramsutra.matrimony@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with, or ask the samaj office. Give the Profile ID (it looks like RR-7K3M9X) of each candidate on the account. You do not need the app for this.

When the committee accepts the request, you are signed out everywhere and every profile on the account is hidden at once. Seven days later the erasure is carried out:

Deleted

Kept, without the facts above
